羅伯·施奈德,大衛(wèi)·斯佩德,喬恩·海德園藝工蓋斯（羅伯·施奈德 Rob Schneider 飾）、報(bào)童克拉克（喬恩·海德 Jon Heder 飾）、音像店職員里奇（大衛(wèi)·斯派德 David Spade 飾）是3個(gè)二十年來從沒上過棒球場(chǎng)的廢柴，除了蓋斯技術(shù)還可以外，另外兩人則是徹徹底底的運(yùn)動(dòng)白癡。他們童年時(shí)都飽受其他小孩的欺負(fù)，即使成年后情況也沒有任何改觀。 蓋斯偶然幫助了與他們有著同樣經(jīng)歷的小胖子納爾森，納爾森的老爹邁爾（Jon Lovitz 飾）是一個(gè)坐擁幾十億資產(chǎn)的富豪。為了讓兒子在健康快樂的環(huán)境中成長(zhǎng)，邁爾決定出資幫助三人以及納爾森組建一支球隊(duì)進(jìn)行全國巡回挑戰(zhàn)賽，一方面為了打敗那些臭名昭著愛欺負(fù)人的球隊(duì)，一方面幫助所有的失敗者重拾信心。蓋斯等人自此開始全新的人生……

What they don’t know is that, because of a mistake made by the travel agency they used, they have all rented the same house. And none of them is willing to back out, although there is not much of an alternative anyway, which means that they will be forced to share the same living space for the whole of the summer. The glaring differences between each and every one of the occupants will turn these days into a chaotic series of entertaining and messed-up situations. Despite this whole disaster, they have to learn how to live together and how to understand all of these wildly different people – and, above all else, themselves.
