 國營陽城煤礦是個先進單位，但煤塵卻一直降不下來。為此，礦里將有十幾年采煤經驗的王志剛調來任綜采隊長。這天，礦工馮小寶和醫生馬蘭正在訂婚，劉發現馬蘭是自己過去的戀人。馬蘭為此心煩意亂，與小寶發生爭吵，小寶借酒消愁時，獨自承包小煤窯的建鑫拉小寶去自己的廠里工作，小寶怒斥建鑫。不久，建鑫違規作業，導致煤塵爆炸，憤怒的志剛和小寶痛打了建，志剛才發現建是自己失散多年的哥哥。經過志剛、小寶等人的努力，終于將抑止煤塵的裝置設計成功，大家一片歡呼。

A frantic Bill realizes that he's going to have to keep closer track of his earthbound heavenly body if he's going to keep the prediction from becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy.

　　賢俊（宋清晨 飾）是一名漫畫家，他和女友多紅（李詩英 飾）相戀多年，感情一直十分要好，終于，賢俊下定了決心，決定同多紅攜手步入神圣的婚姻殿堂，然而，在此之前，賢俊還必須解決一個巨大的麻煩?！　∵@個麻煩正是多紅的父親凌光（白允植 飾），凌光的個性十分頑固，而賢俊全羅道的出身勢必會令他大為不滿。為了獲得準岳父的認可，賢俊做出了諸多的努力，然而，當他真正見到凌光之時，還是感受到了現場濃濃的硝煙氣味。除了凌光，賢俊的準大舅子，準姑母等人亦是難纏的角色，在重重的困難和挫折之下，賢俊還能夠堅持自己和多紅之間的愛嗎？
