 故事發生在中世紀的英格蘭，安妮和她專橫跋扈的婆婆莫溫在社會邊緣掙扎求生。然而，當安妮過去的一位故人從戰場歸來，一位神秘騎士的出現似乎預示著詛咒的降臨，并威脅著她們所有人的命運。

本片改編自同名小說。櫻井萌（當真亞美 飾）從小體弱多病，無法上學，也沒有朋友，每天獨自度過時光。她一直有一個小小的夢想——在自己生日那天，與喜歡的人一起觀賞據說能讓戀人永遠相守的六月滿月“草莓月亮”。然而，15歲那年冬天，她被告知生命所剩無幾。                                                                      　　從醫院回家的路上，萌邂逅了命中注定的人，并下定決心進入高中就讀。入學典禮當天，她在初次見面的情況下，向同班同學佐藤日向（齋藤潤 飾）突然告白，人生第一次戀愛就此開始。終于到了共賞草莓月亮的那一天，但從那天起，萌突然從學校消失，日向再也無法聯系上她。而萌離開的真相，以及13年后傳來的秘密究竟是什么…
