陳浩民,喬牧,肖明玉赤屠龍師兄三人得知祖師爺被將要化成蛟龍的蛟妖所傷，于是自告奮勇去降妖。師兄來到升平鎮，遇到何府搶嬰，得知從骷髏精追回嬰兒的妖人可兒，是年輕時與“梅花鹿精”素素之女。可兒告知母親被蛟妖控制在陰風洞。升平鎮內也是怪事連連，許家兒女行為異常，無憂和常樂布下天羅地網捉拿蝙蝠精；另一邊荒郊大宅赤屠龍救下少爺榮華。蛟妖獲悉得知強敵當前，雙方展開激斗，因蛟妖法力強大，赤屠龍身受重傷；他取出祖師爺所贈的錦囊，悟出真諦，入蛟妖體內將其殲滅。素素吐出修練的仙珠救下奄奄一息的赤屠龍，重返深山望有朝一日能得道成仙。

A tiny village in Flanders is invaded by Spanish troops. The townsfolk have heard of Spanish cruelties in other towns, and decide to deflect the vanquishers by playing dead. This isn't terribly effective (you have to take a breath once in a while), so the wife of the burgomaster tries to soften up the invaders with a lavish carnival. So successful is this venture that the Spaniards allow the village to escape being decimated, or even taxed. An award-winner many times over, Carnival in Flanders was banned in Germany; evidently, Goebbels caught on that director Jacques Feyder and scenarists Bernard Zimmer and Charles Spaak were drawing deliberate parallels between the Spanish and the then-burgeoning Nazis.
