高校痞子田中

　　在位于埼玉縣的某個鄉下小鎮，留著超級夸張爆炸頭的田中廣（松田翔太 飾）度過了渾渾噩噩的童年、少年和青年時代，在自作主張從高中退學之后，他作別了死黨大澤（堤下敦 飾）、岡本（田中圭 飾）、井上（駒木根隆介 飾）和村田（遠藤要 飾），只身前往大都會東京謀生。供職于某隧道挖掘公司的田中，日復一日勞作，不知不覺迎來了24歲的生日。某天他收到井上的結婚請帖，這才想起來和好友們當年的約定：無論將來誰結婚，其他人都要帶著自己的女友出席。眼看好友們和各自或平凡或美艷的女友出雙入對，卿卿我我，田中心中分外焦急。就在此時，美麗溫柔的女鄰居加藤亞矢（佐佐木希 飾）出現在他的面前，令廢柴田中燃起愛情的希望……　　本片根據漫畫家乘附雅春（のりつけ雅春）的人氣系列漫畫“痞子田中（アフロ田中）”中的《上京田中》改編。

　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
