 80年代，封建迷信在僑鄉沉渣泛起，而且 愈演愈烈。這引起了南華縣文化館的重 視。館長鐘本堅帶著一副能夠發出聲響的 變色眼鏡大聲疾呼，要把王村作為調查封 建迷信活動的典型。他把這個任務交給了 剛來這里工作的電大畢業生阿滿。一天清 晨，阿滿踏著晨曦剛剛來到王村，就被一 群突如其來的人"綁架"進村，捧為上賓， 灌得酩酊大醉。原來人們把大清早第一個 路經本村的外來人當作象征平安寶貴的"金 甲貴人"。本村有個巫婆王二姨，專門行騙 賺錢。阿滿親睹了她的祖傳仙法"油鍋里洗 手"，他決心揭開這個謎。呂家鄉有座破 廟，近日來香煙繚繞，進香人絡繹不絕。 干部們為了賺錢，竟帶頭集資修廟，阿滿 嚴肅地提出批評，而鄉長卻說是為了農民 的利益。鄉長的女兒、共青團宣傳委員呂 小蘭熱情支持阿滿的工作，是阿滿的得力 助手。海廳長的兒子海強華依仗權勢招搖 撞騙，他糾纏呂小蘭，攻擊誣蔑阿滿，并 打傷了阿滿。流言蜚語使阿滿有口難辯， 更使鐘館長對阿滿的態度一天三變。近日 來，他那變色眼鏡時常作響。眼前的一切 使阿滿夜不能寐，不禁黯然淚下。王二姨 的寡婦兒媳王美嬌對阿滿深表同情，特意 送來雞湯。暫短的接觸使他們產生了感 情，并且相愛了。美嬌偷偷把婆婆在"油鍋 洗手"的秘密告訴了阿滿。呂祖生日那天， 大開廟會，善男信女們跪地磕拜，虔誠地 等待仙姑顯靈，誰知，正當巫婆王二姨又 要施展她的"仙法"時，阿滿出現在她的面 前，當眾戳穿了那套騙人的鬼把戲。王二 姨無地自容，逃之夭夭，教育了許多人。 王二姨"仙法"失靈，惱羞成怒，設法拆散 美嬌和阿滿的婚姻。一個月后，阿滿又來 到呂家鄉，美嬌已同港商結為伉儷。阿滿 傷感地離去……

等待方舟

　　Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.　　Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?　　n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.　　What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.　　On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.　　One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.　　Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.

熊出沒之年貨

　　一年一度的春節即將到來，人們都陷入了一片歡快的節慶氣氛之中。孤身一人在外的光頭強（譚笑 配音）也想回家過年，只是李老板（張偉 配音）還拖欠著他的工資，光頭強還期盼著能夠用這筆錢給在老家的父母置辦一點年貨。最終，光頭強找到了一份護林員的工作，和動物們一起保護森林的安全。　　可是，李老板似乎是誠心要給光頭強找麻煩，他派出了伐木機器人來到光頭強守護的樹林里大肆開采。為了履行自己的職責，光頭強和熊大（張偉 配音）、熊二（張秉君 配音）、毛毛（孫堯東 配音）、涂涂（萬丹青 配音）等可愛的動物們一起和李老板抗爭到底。
