開羅紫玫瑰
米婭·法羅,杰夫·丹尼爾斯,丹尼·愛羅,歐文·梅茨曼,Victoria Zussin,Wade Barnes,Elaine Grollman,Stephanie Farrow,Maurice Brenner,保羅·赫爾曼,Rick Petrucelli,Peter Castellotti,Milton Seaman,米密·威德爾,Tom Degidon,愛德華·赫曼,約翰·伍德,黛伯拉·拉什,范·強(qiáng)生,佐伊·考德威爾,Karen Akers,安妮喬愛德華茲,米羅·奧西,皮特·麥克羅比,卡米利·薩維奧拉,朱三十年代美國經(jīng)濟(jì)大蕭條，市面上一片荒蕪。家庭主婦Cecilia（米亞·法羅 Mia Farrow 飾）白天應(yīng)對沉悶的服務(wù)生工作（由于經(jīng)濟(jì)崩潰 ，很快也失去這份工作），晚上面對毫無情趣的丈夫。身為狂熱影迷的她日日走進(jìn)影院觀看一部叫《開羅紫羅蘭》的電影，熟習(xí)到連臺詞表情都能記住，電影里沒有經(jīng)濟(jì)蕭條，電影里是上流社會的宴席與取樂。這日奇怪的事發(fā)生了，戲里面的男主角Tom（杰夫·丹尼爾斯 Jeff Daniels 飾）從熒幕上走了下來！直接走到Cecilia面前，和她私奔。而電影里的人物也跟著議論紛紛，劇情不按劇情走，而變成了討論會。 Cecilia與Tom去游樂園，互訴衷情，雖然一開始很浪漫，但后來發(fā)現(xiàn)這并不能填飽肚子，男主角Tom在現(xiàn)實中的扮演者Gil（杰夫·丹尼爾斯 Jeff Daniels 飾）也出現(xiàn)了 ，同樣為了奪得Cecilia芳心與Tom展開比拼決斗。這個荒謬的鬧劇將會如何結(jié)束？走進(jìn)戲院觀看電影的確會讓人暫時忘懷現(xiàn)實世界的不快。
血愛殺手

鬼屋之影
文森特·普萊斯,克里斯托弗·李,彼得·庫欣A quick glimpse at the cast for this film would make any horror fan giddy with glee. The actual movie doesn't live up to those high expectations, but it's far from being all bad. Desi Arnaz Jr. (!) plays an author who makes a crazy $20,000 bet with his publisher that he could write a great novel in only 24 hours. To do so, the publisher gives him the keys to an old abandoned house where he won't be disturbed. Not true. Once he gets there he is interrupted by a multitude of guests including a family which consists of John Carradine, Sheila Keith, Peter Cushing and Vincent Price. They are gathered there in a twisted family reunion to release their brother from the room he's been imprisoned in for forty years. Even Christopher Lee drops by as Corrigan, the man who has just purchased the house. Soon, they realize that the caged brother is loose and out for revenge. What a great plotline and what a dream cast! This movie should have been a hell of a lot better. It's hard to pinpoint the exact problems with the film, but I would venture to say that the lack of lighting was a major fault. Sure the house has no electricity but I think they took the title of the movie a little too literally. Scenes after scenes are barely visible and the actors' faces are undecipherable. Only the moments in the main dinning hall are well lit. Also, the great actors are given very little to do. Cushing gets a few chuckles as the scared brother but Price, Lee and especially Carradine are somewhat wasted here. Well, at least Price gets the best line of the film: `Please don't interrupt me while I am soliloquizing.' And on the plus side, the story has enough twists and turns throughout to keep one`s interest and the ending, while a bit of a cop-out, manages to surprise.
