一個貧困鄉村利用當地的溫泉資源，建了一個溫泉山莊，卻因宣傳推廣不到位而生意清淡。小村決定組織樂隊排練節目參加旅游文化節。卻因溝通的烏龍，影視公司的女業務員用極低的價格接下了這個業務。為了完成任務，將五個性格迥異的人強扭到一起，故事由此展開。

With more money than he knows what to do with, and criminals at his heels, Diz puts the people he's learned to care about in danger, still trying to win Selah. But some things can't be stolen or bought. The River Thief is a film about guilt, self-sacrifice, and accepting life as a gift.
