 海子（呂梁 飾）是一名整日里游手好閑的待業青年，因為學歷不高，所以他找不到什么正經的工作，這讓海子的父親耿柱（仲星火 飾）感到非常的焦慮。耿柱東奔西走，總算給海子找到了一份郵遞員的工作，可是海子對待工作一點都不認真，經常送錯郵件。一天，海子和自己曾經的好友肖彪（周里京 飾）重逢了，肖彪是一個非常上進和自律的男子，他的精神深深打動了海子，在肖彪的影響下，海子決定去英語夜校上課，可是依他的性格，這件事情最終半途而廢。海子來到了肖彪兄妹經營的羊肉串攤，做起了幫工，并且和肖彪的妹妹相談甚歡，這可氣壞了耿柱。

　　Six people bound together by a traumatic experience decide to round off a year of group therapy in style. They join each other once more, traveling up to the Scottish Lowlands for a reunion weekend in a 1970s holiday let.
